I couldn't be happier with the service from Modern Piano Movers. I had a small grand piano moved about 230 miles, and they made the entire process very easy, from the initial call through moving day. The moving crew called the day before to update me on their arrival time, arrived early in the window on pickup day, and kept me up to date on the delivery. The delivery itself was right on time, and the crew was extremely professional.

I am very happy with the service from Modern Piano Moving. Penny promptly responded to my first request and gave me the information I needed and a competitive price. She then scheduled my move. The dispatchers contacted me ahead of time to give me time windows for pickup and delivery. On the pickup end, the movers were very careful and took an hour to pack up our Steinway Grand. On the delivery end, the movers carefully unwrapped and put the legs back on the piano. They moved it into place and didn't leave until I was happy with the positioning. There was not a scratch or mark on the piano, and it stayed remarkably well in tune, attesting to Modern Piano's careful wrapping and transport. I will use Modern Piano Moving for any future move and highly recommend them!

Driver Sam and helper Dan arrived in a timely fashion from Moab Utah with their pet dog. Did a great job "wrapping" up the Steinway and weren't hesitant to use lots of tape to bind the padding down. The truck used to move the piano out the door and across had wide tires so it wouldn't make ruts in the lawn. This was their last stop ( full truck ) so they headed over to Castle Rock, CO. My son ( Parker, CO ) got the piano the next day in the afternoon and setup was uneventful. While loading the Piano ( Nucla, CO ) I had an outside dog tether so the dog could get out of the truck and get some good sniffs!

I entrusted Modern Piano with my family's circa 1890 Mason & Hamlin. The heirloom has now been passed on to the sixth generation. Modern was $200 higher than another company's quote, but I felt Modern was truly the better service. This was a good decision. The men in both states were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and professional. The piano was picked up and delivered on schedule. Excellent 5 Star company!
