I had Modern Piano Moving transport a baby grand piano from West Virginia to Florida. They did an awesome job from start to finish. Everything was well documented and they had great communication at every step of the way. The moving team was professional and did quality work. Modern Piano is very good at communicating and explaining the process: I talked to Margie who answered all my questions and I was notified by email, phone message, and text as to when to expect the movers. The movers were very professional during both pick-up and delivery.

I recently had my beloved upright moved over 1000 miles by Modern Piano Moving, from Alabama to Minnesota. Matthew and Jordan picked it up on September 17th and were nothing but friendly and professional. The piano and bench were wrapped and prepared for the move so thoroughly that I didn’t have any concerns for its safety during transport and storage. On October 24th, Sam and Don delivered the piano to our new house and were every bit as careful, friendly, and professional. My piano and bench made the trip without a scratch. I felt the time between pick-up and delivery was very reasonable, as well was the cost, which was a good deal less than we had expected.
I had to have my piano rebuilt several years ago after it was dropped by a non-piano moving company that “moved pianos all the time.” I vowed to never use a regular moving company to move it again. I am very happy for the service we received from Modern Piano Moving, from the movers to the folks I spoke with on the phone. If, God forbid, we ever make a cross-country move again, I will definitely use them for that move too!
