This is actually the second time I have used Modern Piano Movers and they were great again! They are very professional both in Customer Service and the actual movers/drivers. Their response time is quick and accurate. This time, I was not there when the piano was delivered at destination but my father was. He was very impressed with the job they did!!

This was the second time we have Modern Piano to Move our 7' Steinway. Their service and courtesy is outstanding. The two fellows who packed and loaded the piano on the truck were very friendly, courteous and workmanlike. They new their job well and the piano was packed in a superb manner, as if handling their own piano. When the piano was delivered the two fellows again were very efficient, workmanlike, friendly and courteous. They even took the time to take a picture of us with the piano after it was set up. In both cases, at pick up and delivery, the fellows were brothers which I think is common with Modern Piano. It seems they have several sets of brothers or dad and sons which we had the first time they moved our piano. I would advise anyone who has a piano to move to use Modern Piano. They are professionals.

We moved a piano from Arizona to Virginia at short notice after the death of our mother. The move was excellent and well done. All were informed and helpful. They also gave a military discount. We also moved furniture with another firm and Modern Piano was by far 100% better.

My experience with Modern Piano Moving was excellent from the start! My contact, Daniel, was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered every question and made sure the process was smooth for transporting a baby grand piano from PA to NC. They took great care of the piano, wrapped it securely, and treated it as if it were their own. This was important to me because the piano was purchased by my grandmother in 1955 and given to me to keep it in the family. I was given ample notice for scheduled pickup and delivery, and the guys on both ends of the move were very nice. I highly recommend Modern Piano Moving, and I will definitely use their service again if needed.

I contacted Modern Piano to move my piano from a piano storage company in Southern California up to my new home in Boise, Idaho. They were professional, courteous and delivered my piano in the same shape I left it during storage on the agreed upon day. The gentleman who delivered the piano were wonderful, too.

Beginning with the first telephone call through to the delivery of our piano, everyone we dealt with was professional and personable. It was amazing to watch the extreme care they took with breaking down and preparing the baby grand for shipping. They were equally as careful upon delivery and set up. The cost was fair and the quality was exceptional. Modern Piano Movers are the only company I would ever entrust to move our piano.

This was my mother's piano, the only possession she ever cared about, her husband gave it to her instead of a diamond ring and she played it until she died at age 100. After she passed away we decided it should go to a cherished family friend whose had two little children and a husband who wanted to try playing again. However the piano was in Tucson and they were in Seattle. But Modern Piano came, expertly took apart the instrument, took it out the kitchen door instead of the front door so not to disturb a nesting hummingbird, packed it in their gigantic moving van, and backed it down our narrow access road, all with more skill, tenderness and care than you could possibly imagine from two guys with big muscles. The piano arrived a week later in Seattle in perfect condition and was installed with equal care there, where it is having a new life. Yes I would recommend Modern Piano to anyone. A real person answers the phone.
