I trust modernpiano with my families 94 year old Steinway baby grand piano. They took excellent care of the piano and delivered it in perfect condition. Their staff was wonderful and very professional. The truck was climate controlled and equipped to move pianos. I cannot say enough about my experience and would be happy to talk to anyone who isn't sure about hiring Modernpiano.

The two piano movers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took interest in the history of the piano and were very careful with it. The office staff was also very friendly. The movers arrived at both sites (departure, arrival) exactly when they promised.

The movers/drivers are all four of our moves (in and out of two homes) were excellent. They were very patient with us as we decided where to place the piano and they handled the instrument with great care. They also provided good advice on how to polish the piano and when to tune it following the move. We were delighted with all aspects of the service.

This is the second time I've used Modern Piano Movers' services -- the first was to move an upright grand (about 6 years ago) and, most recently, a baby grand. Both experiences were top-notch! The movers were very courteous, skillful and quick in reassembling my piano, and very neat and thorough in packing up all the moving paraphernalia. We are very pleased with the delivery of our family's baby grand piano. It was picked up in Tennessee and delivered to our children in Minnesota. This was quite a long distance and the move was made with great care and in a timely manner. The workers were very polite and knowledgeable. We were given an estimate for the time it would take and those estimates were very accurate. The piano was delivered in good condition at the time expected.

From start to finish, Modern Piano was very professional, prompt and courteous. The delivery driver called me to let me know what time I should expect him and he was within 3 minutes of the planned time. The drivers also moved another piano for me a few feet away so that this one could be positioned. Very nice young men who did the actual delivery.
