AMAZING! SPECTACULAR! I have a one-of-a-kind art case piano, and it doesn't have a fall board, making transport even more delicate. Our moving date/address changed a couple of times. Tony and his crew were total pros and experts on every step of the way, which included storage for more than a month. Every change was documented and confirmed; all instructions followed 100%, and the sturdy techs/drivers picking up and delivering the piano were shockingly great -- my piano is unique, and they figured out everything quickly, even suggested replacing a couple ill fitting screws on each leg! HIGHLY recommend Modern Piano. It even arrived sort of in tune!

Absolutely recommend. We moved a Knabe baby grande from GA to VA. I shopped around first. Almost made huge mistake with one mover saying they moved pianos only to find every review was about moving a vehicle. First time I talked to Lisa, my stress level dropped completely from her reassurance of MPM's abilities and experience.
Communication with MPM was excellent, first with Lisa, and today at delivery with DJ and Gary. They were careful, courteous, professional , timely and friendly. Well done to your employees and mgmt team for such consistent level of high customer satisfaction from start to finish.

The guys were nice and hardworking. Wasted no time. Moved one piano out and another in. Scheduling was relatively easy for a move from Florida to Maine, and they were very accomodating to add a separate piano move (within Maine) to the end of the trip after the first delivery was scheduled. Communication was good overall, although it wasn't entirely clear to me what to expect on the delivery end, or I might have rolled up some carpets and things prior to arrival. They didn't wear booties or anything, but I wouldn't expect them to change into booties while moving a piano anyway. I just didn't know if they would lay down a runner or something along the path. Not dinging the company for this, just a consideration that it might be helpful to notify customers to "clear a path to bare floor between entry and setup location" or some other similar message.

I used Modern Piano co to move my grand piano from Virginia to Utah. The crew, DJ and Gary, were extremely helpful and professional. Because they wrapped the piano in so many layers of moving blankets, there was a concern that the piano would damage the drywall on the ceiling over the stairs. They were able to troubleshoot the problem and get it out safely with no damage to the walls or the instrument.

Modern Piano Moving was wonderful to work with. We had to move a piano from Utah to South Carolina, and the circumstances were such that our dates for shipping and receiving were hard to pin down. They worked with us and were patient and kind through several changes of schedule. They were reasonably priced, especially considering other options, and they not only took excellent care of the piano, but gave instructions on the receiving end for allowing the piano to adapt to its new climate. We highly recommend them!
