Modern Piano Moving has moved my piano twice - long distances - and both times the experience has been excellent. Communication from the office is clear and someone is always available to answer the phone in case something unusual comes up. The piano suffered NO DAMAGES! in either move, and I felt reassured that they were taking care of my prized possession. I'm also impressed that Modern Piano also is well acquainted with locals in each community I've lived. Very helpful in timing. While moving is not a pleasant task, rest assured that your piano will receive the highest care when you entrust it to Modern Piano Moving.

John, Josh and Zach were a great crew. They each took great care to protect my piano during this pick-up. I was worried about the porcelain floor tiles breaking under the weight of the move, but using pneumatic rollers and lots of padding, the guys rolled it out quickly, smoothly and with absolutely no problem. Everything was well padded and wrapped, and the crew was easy to deal with, polite, efficient. They arrived right on time and worked quickly. I hope that on delivery of the piano to the new location, I am as fortunate as I was this time out.

Lou and Manny were methodical with their approach from the time they showed up until my organ was in its final placement. They took their time and were quite careful in their approach. I was very appreciative of their fine efforts.
What I was not appreciative of had nothing to do with Lou or Manny…but the fact that the company upcharged my credit card and did not tell me. When contacted I was told an email was sent…upon asking to have that email forwarded to me with a date and time stamp I have not heard a word. This is the only thing I am displeased with.

The movers took great care my piano and delivered it in excellent shape. Even gave me great advice about timing of tuning after the move and piano placement in the room. Great service all around. Modern Piano Moving provided a flawless move for my Kawai grand piano from Madera, CA to Payette, ID. From the moment the piano was picked up to the final delivery, every aspect of the move went smoothly. Watching the pick up team prepare the piano with care and precision reassured me that I had hired the right movers for the job. I especially appreciated the attention and care that both teams took to protect my wood floors.

Everyone one that I had any contact with were amazing. The sales person got all of my information for both ends of my move. The dispatcher sent out notice with enough time for me to get to the pick up home to meet the truck. The four hour pick up and delivery window was not needed. The pick up driver called to say they were running ahead which was perfect for me. The delivery was exactly at the quoted time. Both crews took excellent care of my piano getting it out and in of residences as well as into and out of the trailers. I’m not planning on another long distance move but if that changes I will definitely use them again.
