Exceeded expectations! This was a big deal handing over a beloved instrument to strangers to deliver to my son 3 states away. But Modern Piano was very responsive all the way from quoting to delivery and I would use them again in a heartbeat. When compared to hiring movers, renting a truck, insurance, and cost of gas, it was an easy decision to let Modern Piano do the job! We paid maybe $75 more than we would have doing all that ourselves and we rested knowing they took better care of the baby than we could have in a rental truck! Hire Modern Piano - you won’t regret it!

When our elderly parents recently relocated from the North Georgia mountains to Florida, they were unable to take their baby grand piano with them and (some of) their adult children were tasked with finding a new home for it. Sadly these days, it can be very difficult to find someone willing to take a piano for free, let alone purchase and move it. Fortunately, last year my stepdaughter and her husband moved into a large house in Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C., and were looking for a baby grand piano for their formal living room. Modern Piano Moving did a fantastic job, both picking up the piano in Georgia and delivering it to Maryland. On both ends of the process, the movers were highly professional, on time, courteous, safe, and efficient. Administratively, both Margie in the sales office and Jamie in dispatch kept us informed of the schedule and of the details they needed to ensure a smooth process. Overall, we could not have been more pleased with Modern Piano Moving.

Modern Piano Movers sent Lou and Manny to pick up my grandmother’s 100+ year old Steinway grand from my home in northern VA for a long distance move to TX. Both Lou and Manny did an exceptional job. They worked with great care, but efficiently, and they were friendly as well. They constantly asked if we had questions and if they could do anything more to help my husband and me. They had initially phoned to say they were ahead of schedule and wondered if it would be convenient to arrive in about 30 minutes which they did. I certainly could not be more pleased with this team and their company.

I had a long distance move from Cleveland, OH to Columbus, GA with two Steinway grands. After researching several nationwide movers, Modern Piano Moving proved to be the cheapest one. However, just because they were inexpensive didn't mean anything was sacrificed for service. The pianos were packed very carefully, kept safe, and delivered with utmost professionalism. Tony over at MPM was the best -- he was there for every question and concern, and helped things be as smooth as possible!

i had expected that Hurricane Helena would have delayed my delivery date but it was only 1 day difference from the schedule and the delivery driver kept me informed as to when and what time he would be arriving and he was right on time. Had a great experience with Modern Piano Moving. I had two pianos to be moved, not only to different places, but at different times, in two states, and all went according to the plan we laid out. I appreciate the friendly technicians and how careful they were as they packed both pianos. I was kept well informed and received emails and calls to keep me posted.
