They did a great job on bringing a piano down a 180 degree turn staircase. It was tight and difficult with the weight and tight quarters but they got it to the lower level with no damage to the piano or house. I would recommend your company to anyone needing your service. They picked up my grand piano and delivered much faster than was anticipated. My driveway was inaccessible due to the recent snow storms, so they carried the piano from the other end of the street. They were very careful and used allot of padding during the delivery. My piano arrived in the same shape it was picked up in. The truck is truly humidity and temperature controlled. I will use them again. Thanks for a great experience!

I was very happy with the move. The moved an upright piano from MA to MO. They gave plenty of notice for the pick up and drop. They were very careful and conscientious and took care to wrap the piano and bench. They were punctual and picked up the piano and dropped it off at the promised times.

Absolutely amazing company. They were so easy to work with, and communication throughout the process was excellent, from sales, to dispatch, to delivery crew. The price was well below what I had budgeted, as well. They said to allow a 60-90 day window, but our piano was picked up from my mother's house in Oklahoma and delivered to my house in western Virginia in only ten days. It turned what I thought was going to be a stressful experience into a a very easy one.

WOW!! To begin with, I have a baby grand piano that is very special to me. Just knowing it’s required to be dismantled is something that is hard to comprehend… much less observe the process. There are two very professional piano movers that are extremely skilled and highly capable of making a difficult job look like it’s a simple thing to accomplish. Lou and Manny were the ones who showed up for the job of dismantling my piano and taking it out of my house. They were not bothered by the fact my piano was sitting on the second floor where they’d have to walk up and down 14 steps. That’s 8 steps to a landing, then 6 steps to the floor where my piano was. After seeing the challenges which moving the piano would have, Lou and Manny took the time to analyze each step they’d need to make moving the piano happen. While they assured me they were not going to give up (not let it down over my deck) but they’d do whatever they needed to get it out of my house and onto their truck. I was nervous, but they were not. So yeah, Lou and Manny did the darn thing. Which at first sight seemed impossible!! These two men carried the piano on their shoulders and hands! Not one of them complained nor wanted to give up. And because they stuck with it, my piano was successfully dismantled and carried out to the driveway, where they actually rebuilt it on the ground. I can’t say enough good things about these two men; just know if you have to move and need a professional piano mover, Lou and Manny at Modern Piano Moving are experts!!! Thanks for your perseverance guys. I will definitely recommend you and Modern Piano Moving. They love what they do and it shows!!

We are very happy with our Modern Piano Moving experience. Lisa was a pleasure and highly communicative from start to finish. The team that picked up the piano had to come into our community on an ATV with a trailer (so glad they had that since the large track and trailer wasn't allowed). The timeline I was given proved accurate. It traveled from South Florida to DC without issue.
