was truly impressed by the care and knowledge of the team (John, Zach, and Josh) from Modern Piano Moving this week as they picked up my mom’s piano in Florida and readied it for transport to our home in Minnesota. The instrument has been in our family since the early 1970s and it’s the piano I played growing up. It’s in excellent condition and we didn’t want to trust the move to just anyone. I’ll post an update when it completes the journey, but in the meantime, the great service and climate-controlled trucks and warehouses make Modern the right choice.
UPDATE: The crew who delivered the piano to our home in MN was also professional and efficient. We are grateful for the care Modern Piano Moving took in transporting and reassembling our instrument.

Carmen and Jordan did an INCREDIBLE job moving our baby grand piano in the Raleigh-Durham area. I was so anxious because the piano belonged to my family in Denver and had been in storage for over 2 years. They made the process no only fast and easy but fun! They were super friendly and gave us helpful tips about the piano! The piano was delivered with care and the whole process was very smooth! So excited to keep this piano in the family,.

I can't say enough good things about Modern Piano Moving! They moved my father's 6'11" Steinway B grand for the 3rd time recently - this time, involving a complicated transition to a senior living community 600 miles away. A few days after the piano was loaded on the truck, we hit a snag with the community that suddenly changed an easy first-floor load in to a large room, to an elevator move to a 2nd floor apartment. Long story - but I nearly had an anxiety attack over this. I contacted our rep Lisa H. right away and she was very helpful. She requested elevator dimensions which I eventually got from the community, and she assured me that their team on the delivery end was great and would be able to handle it. I was still worried and skeptical, especially 2 days before delivery when the furniture movers said "there's no way they're getting the piano in that elevator." Delivery occurred the same day my father arrived which we had not planned on, and already involved a lot of stress. The two delivery guys managed to roll the piano in the elevator with ease and a few inches to spare! We were so relieved. They were very professional, fast and thorough. I want to thank everyone we worked with at Modern Piano for making this aspect of a very stressful transition so easy and professional. My father is thrilled to have his "baby" with him for this new chapter of life.
