The only issue was it was delayed twice from estimated delivery datemaking it two weeks late, due to truck issues. That put it into a timeframe where I could not be there to take delivery, but my wife was able to handle it. But fantastic on delivery and installation, prifessional and helpful. Great company, but please service your trucks appropriately!

Obvious pros who know what they are doing. Long distance (IN to CA) move with storage 7/7/17 - 9/11/17 until we could buy a house. Their climate control storage is really climate controlled. Didn't get to see piano leave IN. Extremely well wrapped and extreme care taken in rolling it into house without damaging piano, walls and floor. Expensive- yes, but worth the peace of mind trusting it to the experts.

Not an easy move for a baby grand piano. Difficult situations at both end. But not a problem from Modern. And not a scratch. Terrific staff and reasonable cost. Recommended to me by a wonderful music/piano store from which the piano was bought. They were right. IF I HAVE TO MOVE IT AGAIN (I hope not), I will definitely use Modern.

When my Aunt was thinking about moving her piano from North Dakota to Pennsylvania, I shopped around... Modern Piano gave me a quote. Then she decided, maybe not now. After she passed away I called them again... not only were they able to pick it up in a short time frame, they were actually a few hours early! Very professional in their packing/loading of it all... They stayed in touch to confirm delivery contact numbers and it was delivered exactly when they said it would. It was by far the easiest shipping I did in those couple of weeks after my aunt's death! They took care of everything, quickly and easily!

I was recommended modern piano from my local piano mover to help get my grandmother's baby grand from Florida to Indiana. From the jump they were very open and responsive about the process - my rep being able to answer questions for me over phone and email. They showed up when they said they would and got the piano from point A to point B. They even moved a carpet as well! Pricewise, I thought they were fair - considering it was over 10x farther than my last piano move, it cost me less than 10x a local move. It wasn't cheap, but I'm not sure you'll find better care and service if you try to cut costs here.
