They responded quickly to my initial inquiry, established an expected schedule, and notified me as promised for both pickup and delivery. More importantly both the pickup team and the delivery team were highly-professional and careful with our piano that had to go across the country. The wrapped the piano carefully, and even plastic wrapped it for the short trip between the house and the truck to protect it from the rain that started right after they arrived. Absolutely top-notch!

Our family piano has been moved by Modern Piano Moving from Chicago to Des Moines, Iowa and from there to St Paul Minnesota,
I cannot say enough for both moves. Jared and Gabriel were our movers. They were ultra careful , as were the movers we had before them and couldn't have been more polite They are true professionals
and knew every trick to get the grand through a tricky door with no damage
When this piano is moved again it will be with Modern Piano.

I didn't know anything about Modern Piano when I contacted them, but I can tell you that they are a very professional and reputable company. Everything they told me they would do, was exactly what they did. The gentlemen who picked up the piano were very friendly and professional. If you need a piano moved, I would not use anyone but Modern Piano!! I don't fill out surveys but I made an exception with this one, because this company was SOOOO GOOD.

Wow! These guys are great. They did exactly what they said. They were knowledgeable and friendly. The delivery guys knew how to think for themselves and they improvised when necessary in order to get the job done. There were no surprises on the pricing. I wish every company was like this one.

I was referred 3 piano moving companies by my local piano retailer. I was told Modern would probably be the most expensive but was the best. Modern Puano Movers was actually the least expensive (by $100) for my move from MS to OH. Brandy was my coordinator. She promptly arranged the move. I received a contract with all of the details clearly articulated. They were very professional and kept the schedule they promised. The moving teams were professional, careful and expedient on both ends of the move. Our piano arrive in perfect condition. We would highly recommend.

Excellent, competent, careful, handling of my piano on its move from Boston to outside Washington DC. It arrived at the other end of its journey without a hitch, receiving the same care in getting placed in its new abode. The crew were clearly very experienced in protecting my piano from the inevitable jolts of ground travel. It was even strapped down to avoid possibly being tipped over en route. They were also very personable and took professional pride in the quality of care, handling my instrument. Look no further. This is the company to hire to move your piano.

They kept me informed of pickup and delivery dates and were prompt and courteous. I was not at the pickup (which was in Algona IA at my cousin's house), but I was at the delivery. The crew contacted me ahead of time to say when they planned to arrive at my house so I could run home from work. They arrived on time and were very pleasant as they unpacked and set up my 100-year-old baby grand piano. They also handed me a small plastic bag containing some ivory key tops which had popped off (not unusual) so I knew where they were. The entire process was smooth and easy - much easier than it used to be to move a piano across state lines now that we have the Internet!

Both the Loading Crew and the Unloading Crew were very professional and extremely careful moving the piano. Both jobs took less than an hour which means the crews were experienced and efficient with their time. Excellent job on both ends. Wish we could say that about our furniture movers.
