Modern Piano Moving transported my console/studio piano (a family treasure) from Colorado Springs, CO, to my grandson in Batavia, IL. I was highly impressed with all personnel representing the company. They were prompt, professional, and careful. They delivered my piano to my grandson in a timely manner and in perfect condition. I was moving from Florida to Tennessee and spent a considerable amount of time researching piano movers on the web as well as getting advice from local piano showrooms and piano technicians. One company name came up time and again for their professionalism, quality and dependability and that was Modern Piano. I called them up and within minutes knew that this company was passionate about their one and only business and that was moving piano's. I got a fair quote to pick up my baby grand, take it to storage and deliver it to me when I needed it. The guys that picked up the piano were on time, very friendly, professional and very thorough in packaging my piano so that it would be safely moved. My piano was in storage for almost 5 months (much longer than I had anticipated) but was delivered to me, on time as promised, in perfect condition and the movers were again very friendly, professional and careful with setting up the piano. Everyone in this company did a really outstanding job and I could not have been more pleased with their service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wanted their piano carefully stored and moved.

The piano pickup was in Florida. I was not there but Modern Piano coordinated the pickup easily with the property manager who was very impressed with the way the piano was wrapped and the care the workers took in moving it out of the house. On this end, I was called about a half hour before delivery, the truck arrived on time, and the workers were very careful moving the piano up the driveway and into the house. They carefully unwrapped and assembled it and moved it to the exact place I wanted it. They even moved a couch that I thought was not in he perfect place. All in all, I was very happy with move of this 100+ year old baby grand. Not a scratch on it that wasn't already there and I was provided with a check sheet showing observed vacuum cleaner damage to the legs in years prior to the move.
I had several other estimates for the move and in this case, Modern Piano not only had the cheapest price but I think, the best service. I can't think of anything they could have done any better I would not hesitate to call them again should the "beast" ever need to go on another trip.

I was pleased with Modernpiano Company
Customer service was very knowledgeable in advising and answering questions. Having one company control the pickup and drop off of my piano was very important to me if there would be any issues. The company will work with with you to the best of their ability in matching your time frame but you need to be diligent about their schedule too.
